25 Things You May or May Not Have Wanted to Know...
1. I absolutely hate moths. “Papillons de nuit” in French. They scare me to death. 2. I am probably going to marry Kanye West someday, which reminds me… 3. I have about 10-20 future husbands. 4. I know what’s best for me, but despite this fact I often choose to do the opposite. 5. I speak French. 6. I need to live somewhere warm when I graduate. I cannot STAND the...
You'd better free your mind instead.
Today there was a national strike here in France. Schools, teachers, transportation, a whole lot of people went on strike. I wasn’t (and still am not) entirely sure why, but it was cool because two of my classes were cancelled. I thought it was kind of silly, I mean they strike about everything here. But today when I saw the huge crowds of people filling the streets in demonstration, I was...
c'est ce qu'elle a dit
So I’m REALLY proud because today my host sister, Amélie, made her very own that’s what she said joke! We were in the car with Rachel (my host mom), Patricia (another student), and Amélie’s friend, and Rachel was saying she knows a French boy she can introduce me to (haha), but he doesn’t live in Besançon.

Journée 1
I am now officially in France. I’ll write more later from my computer, not my iPod, and when I have some time. I neeeeed sleeeeeep!! Just one thing…
Day one conclusion: little children speaking French is probably one of the most adorable things, ever.
Bonne nuit !
O'Hare to DeGaulles
I’ve been sitting in O’Hare airport ALL. DAY. LONG. Literally. I got here at 11 am and I’m waiting for my flight to leave at 6:20. I still have a long ways to go. Having to sit here and just wait wait wait for seven hours is killing me. I’m really anxious. I don’t know, it’s weird.
I’ve been meaning to write in this the past few days but I’ve been...
